Delete your account

You can do this yourself, from inside the app, without emailing anybody and without waiting for us to approve it.
In the app
- Open Ark Multiplayer Games and sign in.
- Tap the account icon in the top bar.
- Choose Delete account.
- Confirm. The account is closed immediately and you are signed out.
If you cannot sign in
Email happieapartment@gmail.com from the address on the account, or tell us the username and the phone number it was registered with. We will verify you own it and delete it within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your username, display name, email address and phone number
- Your password hash
- Your friends list, and your entry in other people's friends lists
- Your one-to-one messages
What is kept, and why
Records we are legally required to retain — for example, evidence relating to abuse or fraud — are kept for as long as the law requires and then removed. Anonymous, aggregate counts that cannot be traced to you (such as "games played this month") remain, because they no longer contain personal data.
A message you sent to another person stays in their copy of the conversation, in the same way a text message you have sent does not vanish from the recipient's phone.
Results of finished rounds — each player's username, rank and score — are stored by the game server separately from your account, and are not yet removed automatically when the account is deleted. Email happieapartment@gmail.com with your username and we will remove them.
This cannot be undone
There is no recovery period and no way to restore a deleted account. If you only want a break, signing out is enough — nothing is lost by leaving the account in place.
